OUR Piece of TExas

W

elcome to Creekmore Farms, a dream realized in 2022 when we finally moved to the land we had owned for years with the intention of making it our home. Nestled just 10 miles south of De Leon, this piece of Texas has been a labor of love as we’ve worked to shape it into our thriving farm.

Our journey began with a vision of raising cattle and growing coastal hay, a vision that has seen us investing countless hours in fencing and installing a pivot irrigation system to ensure the land reaches its full potential. The backdrop to our story is one of hard work and dedication, underpinned by my extensive background in construction. This expertise has been invaluable in not only developing our farm but also in planning future construction projects to bridge the gaps between farming seasons.

Our roots run deep in this region, with my wife’s family, the Brinsons, having a long and storied history in De Leon. Her parents and grandparents called this area home, and their legacy inspires us every day as we build our own. This connection to the land and its history provides a sense of continuity and purpose to our efforts, reminding us of the importance of preserving and nurturing this beautiful part of Texas.

Life at Creekmore Farms is a blend of old-fashioned hard work and modern techniques, where tradition meets innovation. Each day brings new challenges and opportunities, from tending to our cattle to ensuring our hay fields are lush and productive. It’s a lifestyle that demands resilience and adaptability, but the rewards are immeasurable.

We’re committed to not only sustaining our farm but also contributing to the community that has welcomed us so warmly. Our future plans include expanding our endeavors, leveraging my skills to support the local infrastructure while continuing to grow our agricultural operations.
